Sorry for making 4 posts on "Windows Vista: Notepad".
I was getting an error so I kept retrying!

Try using the Vista Mail newsreader. All the groups are already loaded and all you have to do is subscribe to the one you want. There seems to be a bug in the access via the web-based reader that gives false reports of a failure to post.
